Sam Fratoni

Sam Fratoni is a business executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership and management in global, technical businesses. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bucknell University, he moved on to Purdue University where he earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. Starting at Stanford Research Institute, he quickly realized it is the application of technology that produces results, and that takes people and organizations to make it happen.

For over 30 years Sam held various high level leadership positions at both Hewlett Packard Company and IDEXX Laboratories, specializing in customer focused development, integrated information management systems, global marketing, cross functional alignment, and staff development. He also attended Wharton’s Advance Management Program. Currently, Sam is the President of the Board of Trustees at the Breakwater School and Enrichment Center in Portland, Board Chair for Envision Maine, and board member and mentor for Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development.

Sam has created Model the Behavior as a means of sharing his experience and expertise both in business growth and corporate leadership with entrepreneurs and early stage companies. By combining his knowledge of chemistry and science, with his passion for organizational development and skills as a leadership coach, he has found a unique way to apply scientific modeling techniques to management scenarios that produce predictable, long lasting results.

Best practice approaches simplified for quick implementation by busy leaders.
